Getting started

What happens when I sign up?

Your profile, interface settings, weekly focus and seven default life areas (Career & Learning, Health & Fitness, Finance, Relationships, Personal Growth, Hobbies & Creativity, Home & Admin) are created automatically. You can rename, recolour or delete any of them from the Areas page.

Getting started

Choosing a theme

Settings offers three theme families — Ledger (classic paper and ink), Aurora (modern and vibrant) and Vintage Journal (warm retro) — each with a light and dark variant. You can also scale the font size and switch off animations.

Tasks

Quick add and natural language

Type something like 'Call mom tomorrow 6pm !high #family' in the quick add box. Dates, times, priority (!low !medium !high !urgent) and #tags are parsed out automatically and the rest becomes the title.

Tasks

List, board and calendar views

Switch views from the toolbar. The board groups by status and supports drag and drop; the calendar view places tasks on their due date.

Habits

Streaks, targets and pausing

Each habit tracks a weekly target and a running streak. Pausing a habit keeps its history but stops it appearing in Today. Grace days let a streak survive a missed day.

Notes

Wikilinks and the graph

Type [[Another note]] inside a note to link it. Backlinks appear in the side panel, and the graph view draws every connection as a force-directed web.

Money

Budgets versus actual

Set a monthly limit per category. Progress bars turn amber near the limit and red past it, calculated from the transactions you logged in the current month.

Money

Debt payoff strategies

The Portfolio page projects your payoff timeline with either the snowball method (smallest balance first) or the avalanche method (highest interest first), using your real balances, rates and minimum payments.

Health

Medication adherence

Adherence is the share of scheduled doses you logged over the last 30 days — it is computed from your medication schedule and dose logs, never estimated.

Analytics

How the day score works

Day score = tasks completed × 10 + focus minutes ÷ 10 + habit completions × 5, capped at 100. It updates as soon as you log anything.

Analytics

Correlation insights

Insights compare two of your own series — for example mood on days with completed morning habits versus days without. If there isn't enough data yet, the insight says so rather than guessing.

Data

Exporting and deleting

Settings has a full JSON export of every table plus CSV exports for tasks and transactions. Deleting your account removes all rows and files permanently, so export first.

Data

Trash and undo

Deletes across the app are soft — items move to Trash for 30 days and an undo toast appears for a few seconds after every delete.
